How to measure

Measure over light underwear. Keep the tape level and snug, never tight.

Bust Measure around the fullest part of the bust.
Waist Measure around the narrowest part of the natural waist.
Hips Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Aleta begins with a clean corset bodice and opens from the waist into a full, flared skirt. Fine lacing at either side of the square neckline and wide straps fastened with metal buckles at the shoulders bring the tailoring forward. The back is left entirely open; a crossed lace threaded through eyelets both closes the dress and shapes the silhouette. Matte, substantial cloth holds the skirt upright through the day. The plainness of black balances the dramatic volume of the shape.
